Key Responsibilities of Quality Manager
- Oversight and enhancement of company-wide quality systems
- Facilitation of communication with customers and suppliers
- Conducting root cause analyses and implementing corrective actions
- Leading and motivating a small team of quality professionals
- Conducting internal and external audits
- Providing support and training to employees on quality, audit, and inspection procedures
- Spearheading efforts to maintain continuous product or service quality through process controls, data analysis, and measurement
- Participation in new product development (NPD), new product introduction (NPI), and engineering change activities to ensure compliance with standards
Requirements of Quality Manager
- Proven experience managing quality within a fast-paced manufacturing setting
- Previous supervisory experience
- Proficiency in internal and external auditing processes
- Comprehensive knowledge and utilization of quality tools such as SPC, APQP, PPAP submissions, FMEA, and Control Plans
- Strong customer-facing skills
