£22,000 - £26,000/annum + training + prospects

We require a project administrator with strong communication and planning skills to work for a firm that is a specialist service provider to Yorkshire Water.  The firm, via the work from field engineers, provide wastewater network monitoring and clean water leakage reduction.

Project Administrator – The Role
Duties include:

  • Liaise with field engineers on a daily basis offering remote support
  • To update engineer workpacks and assist with daily workloads
  • Accurate data entry using internal spreadsheets and the updating and completion of corporate reporting suites and databases
  • Routine office tasks such as updating and filing engineers’ reports, ordering supplies etc.

Project Administrator – Person specification

  • Planning and organisation skills 
  • Excellent communication skills
  • A good telephone manner
  • Self-motivated and reliable
  • Computer literate with experience of Windows and Excel 
  • Previous experience working with an organisation that employs field engineers is an advantage

Project Administrator – Benefits Package

  • A starting salary of £22,000pa
  • The starting salary could be higher for a candidate with relevant water sector experience
  • Salaries then rise by £1,000/pa every 6 months to £26,000pa
  • Personal Pension Scheme
  • Excellent career prospects
  • 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday
  • 20 days holiday (plus 8 Bank Holidays) - 28 days in total
