Project Engineer - Water Industry

A specialist MEICA contractor specialising in the delivery of clean and wastewater projects is looking for a Project Engineer/Manager to work on their Southern Water framework.

If you have experience delivering projects within water, or a similar chemical/process engineering industry, then this could be the perfect role for you!

Duties for Project Engineer:

• Work across multiple projects or one large scheme on the delivery of MEICA services in water
• Ensure that commissioning teams are kept up to date with project progress
• Monitoring and periodic review of project commercial performance (with commercial colleagues)
• Safe delivery of projects to time, cost, and quality
• Assist in ensuring a quality service is provided to the client
• Being involved in technical planning and programming the projects
• Ensure the project is running on time and budget
• Monitoring and periodic review of project commercial performance (with commercial colleagues)
• Be responsible for site inspections and progress reports

Qualifications and experience:

• IOSH, SSSTS/SMSTS or NEBOSH general certificate would be an advantage
• Previous demonstrable experience in a similar MEICA project management role (ideally within water)
• Computer literacy, particularly with MS Office applications is essential
• EUSR Water Card
• Hold a valid full UK driving license
