Located at leading manufacturing process plant, operating 24/5, is looking for a skilled Electrical Maintenance Technician to join its team on a permanent basis. This pivotal role at their Derby site is working in a medium to heavy engineering environment, with rotating 6am-2pm with a 2pm-10pm shift.

This role is ideal for a Maintenance Technician who is a hardworking and driven character who will show a degree of flexibility where required. Those with a background in medium to heavy engineering, a strong electrical skillset and strong understand of Health and Safety is vital, as the client is a big advocate for the highest standards of H&S.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and troubleshoot power distribution, automated material handling, and operational equipment.
• Oversee maintenance of production equipment, material handling systems, and dust collection equipment.
• Handle electrical controls, PLCs, VSDs, servo motors, HMI, and motor control.
• Execute preventive maintenance tasks and utilize power and hand tools for repairs.
• Review and complete work order assignments promptly.
