CNC Turner (Programmer, Setter, Operator using Mazatrol)

NCS are working with a client based in Birmingham who are looking for a CNC Turner to join their team.

This company have been going from strength to strength over the last decade and are expanding their team of skilled engineers. The primary market they work in is Aerospace but they also service other high integrity markets such as Oil & Gas, Nuclear and Defence to name a few. You will be a part of producing high-precision parts working to fine tolerances.

Responsibilities;

  • Program, Set and Operate Mazak lathes using Mazatrol to produce components according to their production schedule. Adhering to drawing specs and tolerances.
  • Must be capable of interpreting drawings and selecting your own tooling.
  • Collaborate with the rest of your colleagues to ensure the orders are met OTIF.
  • Maintain your machine tools and look for opportunity to streamline your work processes to optimize performance.


Requirements;

  • Must have recent experience as a CNC Turner using Mazatrol.
  • Apprentice served or of a similar education within engineering.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team in a fast paced environment
  • Experience machining more complex components within an Aerospace, Nuclear or Oil & Gas sectors or similar.


🕗 Hours for the role; 🕔

Monday to Thursday
08:00 - 17:00

Friday
08:00 - 13:00

Overtime is available in this role paid at 1.3x
