We Build Recruitment are on the lookout for an Electrical Contracts/Project Manger based near to the Fylde to join a well established electrical contractor who’s work stretches across the whole of the North West and into London.  

The large majority of the work is commercial with retail, hotels and offices amongst the usual projects. However it does also expand into wider areas such as hospitality venues and stadiums/arenas.

The package to an extent is negotiable and will be entirely based upon experience. However the current salary is in the £60,000 region and will come with a company car alongside the usual expenses.

Job Role:

• Manage projects from conception through to completion. This includes assisting with the costing in pre construction, monitoring expenditure throughout the entirety and assisting with handover.
• Manage multiple projects at any one time in line with project scopes and deliverables
• Pre-construction coordination of design, planning and procurement activities.
• Monitor all the site foremen/operatives and ensure the work is being carried out to a satisfactory standard in line with clients expectations and H&S standards
• Liaise with clients and update them throughout the project.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Previous experience as an Electrical Contract/Project Manager
• Experience working on commercial projects
• Preferable Electrical Qualifications such as a HNC/HND in electrical engineering and Project Management Qualifications such as APM/Prince2
• SMSTS + CSCS card preferable
