Exciting opportunity to work with a scaling and innovative business using cutting edge technologies to provide one of a kind solutions to some of the biggest global names.

My client is looking for an experienced embedded engineer, adept at working to MISRA guidelines and ideally experienced with IoT devices. They are based in Lincolnshire but want to attract talent across the UK with flexible and expenses covered travel onsite, only when required (likely once every 3-4 weeks).


Role/Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and develop the codebase.
  • Bug fixing and new feature development.
  • Support and assist other engineers with the design, prototyping and release of products.
  • Gather new product requirements and features.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement within the team.
  • Working with products from concept to production.

Experience/Skills:
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in embedded software development with C/C++.
  • Experienced with MISRA standards and guidelines.
  • Experience with communication protocols – ideally cellular.
  • Software testing experience.
  • Hardware/electronics experience.
  • Knowledge of GNSS/positioning techniques.
  • Experience with IoT devices.
 
Desirable:
  • Experience with U-blox devices.
  • Understanding of CI/CD practices and pipelines.
