Contechs are currently recruiting on behalf of a Luxury Automotive Manufacturer based in Surrey who are seeking a Junior EMC Engineer to join their team.

Job Description

As Junior EMC Engineer your main responsibilities are:

• To support the Electrical Systems department, specifically working alongside the EMC Specialist.
• Support cross programme EMC topics that could involve investigation of potential EMC concerns, from root cause analysist through to proposal and testing of solutions, support of other function groups to drive best practice and support of EMC homologation testing.
• Support to define actions and following through to completion
• Support testing requirements
• Occasional support to production line on electrical/EMC issues

Qualifications / Skills required

• 0-2 years of experience in EMC testing, electronics design, or a related field (internships or co-op experience is a plus).
• Basic understanding of EMC systems.
• Familiarity with EMC testing equipment and procedures.
• Knowledge of electronic circuit design and signal integrity.
• Knowledge in using simulation tools and CAD software.
