The Client
We are currently working on behalf of a rapidly expanding, independent specialist with an impeccable reputation. The company serves the insurance industry for drainage and water mains claims across the UK. T he Role
They currently have a permanent requirement for a Drainage Engineer (Repairs) to work in a home-based role, ideally located in County Durham or surrounding areas. In the role you will predominantly be site based undertaking all drainage jobs whilst ensuring, where possible, that work is completed on the first visit. You will be able to confidently explain to customers what work you need to carry out ensuring you leave them with peace of mind.
Experience Required
Essential
- Open Cut pipework replacement in excavations up to a depth of 3.0m
- Patch Repair experience (no dig repair using patch packer)
- Relining experience (no dig repair via inversion of calibration hose through liner using air or water)
- Reinstatement of various different domestic surface types
- CCTV (labelling and recording)
- CAT Scanning in order to identify buried services.
- Excellent standard of customer care.
- Problem solving approach to repairs.
Desirable
- Re-Rounding experience
- High Pressure Water Jetting (van pack)
- Use of 360 Excavators (1.5T, 3T, 5T)
- DBS and credit check
- Driving licence with no more than 6 points
- Job competency and relevant experience

The Rewards
The rewards for the successful candidate are excellent. The company are willing to pay a competitive starting salary between £30,000 -£34,600 plus a fully equipped and expensed company vehicle and strong benefits package.
