Machine Operative/Guillotine Operator
South Tyneside
12 weeks Temporary to Permanent
Zenith People are proud to be working with our client who are an established company based in South Tyneside with a healthy order book for the coming years. Set up over 20 years ago this is a family run business who offer design and manufacture on site from concept to completion. As a result of recent growth, they are looking to recruit an experienced Machine Operator on a permanent basis. Working in a fabrication shop environment, main duties & responsibilities will be as follows:-
- Operating pre-programmed CNC Punch & Press Machines along with Bending and Cutting Machines.
- Cutting materials to size such as stainless steel and aluminium using a guillotine
- Work collaboratively and independently with the team.
- Carry out any other duties as and when necessary to assist the team.
Skills & Experience Required
- Previously working as a CNC Press or Guillotine Operator within a similar environment
- Able to work from basic Engineering drawings.
- Be able to provide work related references.
Overtime Available
Monday - Thursday (Time and a Third)
Saturday (Time and a Half)
