Technical Manager (Building Compliance)

Basic £65,000 with bonus earnings of up to £72,000

Based near Stockport

Hybrid role, 3 days in the office and 2 from home.

Our client is seeking an ambitious Technical Manager who has knowledge of SAPs / SBEMs/ Overheating within building compliance to head up their domestic and commercial assessing team.  They need someone who is passionate about carbon neutral, sustainable and healthy building environments, driven to play a vital role in meeting the UKs target to be Carbon Neutral in 2050.

As the Technical Manager you will be responsible for the development of the Low Energy Building Team, ensuring team members have a clearly defined development plan, and business growth through the delivery of Successful Projects. Working closely with your team and clients, as well as the senior management of the business to set and meet strategic company objectives.

You will need to ideally have experience / knowledge in Domestic and Commercial Building Energy Models, Part L Calculations (SAP / SBEM) , Part O Overheating Calculations (TM59 / TM52), Dynamic Energy Modelling (IES VE), U-Value & Thermal Bridging Calculations (THERM), Retrofit Coordinator Activities (PAS2035), Heat Decarbonisation Planning (Public Sector PSDS), Passivhaus Principles and / or Design
