An exciting opportunity for an Engineering Supervisor to work for a leading maintenance service provider on a large site in Thurrock, Essex. Working on a highly reputable site, this is a fantastic opportunity for a Supervisor with great progression opportunities within the contract, with several current employees working their way up the ladder.

Supervising a Shift and Day team you will be responsible for the day to day operations, overseeing the delivery of all planned and reactive maintenance on electrical, mechanical, HVAC and associated systems. also carrying out remedial works and emergency response on site whilst ensuring all compliance paperwork is kept up to date. 

You will be Electrically qualified holding City and Guilds / NVQ qualifications whilst also being multi skilled with good all round building services maintenance knowledge. 
 
Duties

• PPMs & Reactive maintenance
• UPS, Chiller Plant, AHU, CHP, PDU’s, Gen Sets, Vertical transportation systems, LV & HV Distribution, Switch gear, Single and Three Phase Power, Motors, Generators (on/off load tests), LV/HV, Motors.
• Carry out isolation of plant and systems in accordance with safety requirements.
• Become LV and HV SAP for the site/account, helping to maintain contractual HVAP levels across the engineering team.
• Ensure corrective/repair works are carried out in accordance with regulations.
• Endorse safe working practices, quality standards conformity and best practice methods.
• Organising subcontractors
• Completing logbooks and RAMS
• Reports
• Conducting client meetings
• Ensuring the account manager is kept up to date on a regular basis 
• Liaising with client representatives in respect of corrective repair works.
• Permits to work
• Raise and close jobs on PDA's as necessary.

Requirements

• City & Guilds / NVQ (or equivalent) qualification in Electrical Installations
• Ability to lead a days engineering maintenance team
• Building Services Maintenance experience
• Career driven and motivated
