The Company/Role
Our client is one of the UK’s leading Electrical Manufacturing businesses, who are a subsidiary of the global company Siemens.
You will be responsible for completing the wiring of distribution boards and large cubicle/panel assemblies by GA drawings and wiring schedules.

Duties of a Panel Wireperson:
- Prepare, crimp, terminate, and loom wires and cables in accordance with schematic drawings and wiring schedules.
- Accurately record time bookings per task on the company recording system.
- Advise the department supervisor of any problems and issues that prevent tasks from being completed.
- Check finished wiring tasks to ensure quality standards are met.
- Complete duties in a manner that ensures the health and safety standards are adhered to.
Required Skills of a Panel Wireperson:
- Qualified to minimum City & Guilds level, within an Electrical discipline.
- Experience with a wide range of crimping and termination techniques.
- Experience in handling a wide variety of cable sizes (typically 1.0 mm-16 mm).
- Must have the ability to read, understand, and interpret electrical drawings.
- A positive, proactive attitude with good interpersonal skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
