INTERNAL SALES CO-ORDINATOR

Record 316 Limited are a leading supplier of Italian hygienic processing equipment, Pumps, Valves, Heat Exchangers and Homogenisers to the food and beverage manufacturing industries.

Based at our office in Harworth near Doncaster, you will be responsible for all aspects of sales and purchasing, along with co-ordinating supplier deliveries and working alongside the external sales team to develop the business.

The Role Sales Co-ordination is a key part of what we do, providing the crucial ‘bridge' between our customers and our sales delivery. This varied role will see you handling inbound customer enquiries and processing quotations and sales orders. This position is wholly office based and focussed upon customer engagement, understanding customer needs to ensure opportunities are realised and first-class service is always provided.

Sales Coordinator Key Duties

  • Managing and developing a portfolio of existing accounts, effectively maintaining profitability
  • Dealing with incoming customer queries and providing advice and solutions
  • Undertaking outbound activity to help identify and target new customers
  • Working closely with and supporting the external sales team
  • Administration of sales orders/quotations, ensuring customer expectations are met and excellentcommunication is maintained at all times.
  • Regular use of internal CRM system
  • Processing of sales and purchases through the Sage accounts system
  • Procurement including obtaining the best pricing for the customer and business.
  • To update orders on the system where appropriate, and inform customers of any amendments eg quantity,delivery date.
  • To ensure all relevant information regarding delivery times, code numbers, requirements for Certificate ofConformity etc are correct.
  • Support the external sales function from quotations through to purchasing.
  • You must have excellent mathematics skills, as you will be working in multiple currencies.

  • Operate at all times with the highest levels of business integrity to ensure the good reputation of thecompany is maintained.
  • Operate within the detailed processes and systems in current operational use, ensuring customerexpectations are fulfilled.

Key Skills

  • 3 years of industry / product / role experience
  • Previous administrative experience
  • Proficient skills in Microsoft Office including Word / Excel / Outlook
  • Excellent customer service and problem solving skills•Excellent organisational skills
  • Ability to work to deadlines
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Ability to spot other opportunities with the client•Account management / customer service to a high level
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in the use of Sage Accounts sales and purchases
  • Excellent telephone manner
  • If you are fluent in Italian this would be an advantage although it is not a requirement.
