£16.00ph basic, £24.00ph overtime
Days only, Monday - Thursday (Off Fridays)

Metalis Recruitment are currently working with a prestigious manufacturing company who due to expansion are looking for an experienced Grinder to join the team.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Setting and calibrating optical profile grinding machinery
- Operating a Wickman machine in accordance to customer specifications
- Working from engineering drawings & specifications
- Using optical and measuring tools to inspect workpieces during and after grinding to ensure they meet specifications
- Configuring machine settings including speed, feed, and depth of cut based on the material and blueprint requirements
Shifts & Salary:
- £16.00ph basic rate
- £24.00ph overtime rate
- Days only, Monday - Friday
- Monday - Thursday (6:30am - 4:30pm) OFF Friday 3 day weekend!
- Full time, Permanent position
The Ideal candidate will have:
- Previous Grinding experience
- Knowledge of Wickman machinery
- Ability to work from engineering drawings & specifications
