Office Based Calibration Technician
Work objective of this position
To Calibrate and repair water quality monitors and gas detectors and maintain and manage records of all repair and calibration activities.
Tasks in detail, major job duty/accountability
- Organise and carry out the repair and calibration of monitors.
- Maintain adequate levels of repair and calibration materials, tests, gases, standard solutions, etc
- Maintain records of repairs
- Produce calibration certificates
- Maintain records and documentation to ISO 17025 standards.
- Liaise with the sales team to provide information on repair times.
- Work with the workshop team to ensure health and safety requirements are followed at all times.
Skills
- Experience in calibration and repair of monitors/ sensors
- Experience of ISO 17025 Documentation
- Attention to detail
- Organised and able to work towards SLAs and KPI repair times
Qualifications
- 3 years experience in similar role
Desirable
- Electrical qualification, BTEC, HNC.
