Structural Technician

The Structural Technician will:
- Be responsible for detailing and modelling a wide range of building structures on medium to large-scale projects for various schemes, ensuring high accuracy and attention to detail.
- Develop general arrangement layouts and models, coordinating activities to detail structures and foundations in core materials like steel, concrete, masonry, and timber.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation, ensuring compliance with Building Information Modelling (BIM) protocols up to Level 2, Common Data Environments (CDE), and reinforced concrete detailing standards.
- Utilise Revit for Structural Engineering (primarily) and AutoCAD for project work, ensuring familiarity with various building techniques and high-quality outputs.
The Structural Technician will have:
- Demonstrable technical ability in developing general arrangement layouts and models using Revit and AutoCAD, with familiarity in Navisworks, BIM protocols, and reinforced concrete detailing as desirable skills.
- At least 2 years post-graduate experience in a similar or transferable role, ideally within a consultancy environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of representing the company professionally to fellow project professionals.
- Strong ability to operate independently and as part of a team, coordinating work with others and ensuring high attention to accuracy and detail.
