Position Summary


Our client, a leading aerospace company, is seeking a Systems Engineer to develop and implement structured engineering solutions to meet programme requirements. You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with legislation, customer requirements, human factors, and business needs. This is a contract position based on-site at our client's facility in Hampshire.



Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Capture and define requirements through a disciplined and rigorous approach to requirements engineering
  • Construct and implement embedded engineering solutions including detailed design and performance optimization
  • Plan and document system verification, including various types of testing
  • Generate work products conforming to technical and quality requirements
  • Assist in the compilation of project plans and estimates
  • Collaborate with customers, other engineering disciplines, and internal departments
  • Perform internal project activities and work with external subcontract organizations
  • Contribute to continual process improvement


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Education Level: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience (Required)
  • Education Level: Master's Degree or equivalent experience (Preferred)
  • 2-4 years of experience in Aerospace Systems Engineering including:
    • Aircraft equipment design experience
    • Awareness of aircraft certification requirements
    • Awareness of aircraft interfaces and information usage
    • Experience with hardware and software trade-offs and partitioning
    • Experience with mathematical and graphical modeling
