Role Overview:

• As a Mechanical Fitter, you'll be part of a large team working across our varied 9-acre site. You'll be involved in new installations, commissioning, reactive, and preventative maintenance.
• To ensure you're fully equipped to handle our advanced machinery and systems, you'll receive 3 months of comprehensive training and development. This program will bring you up to speed with all the equipment and processes unique to our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform mechanical maintenance tasks, including machinery moves, and equipment installations
• Conduct routine preventive maintenance to minimise downtime and ensure optimal equipment performance.
• Utilise expertise in pump and boiler systems.
• Collaborate with other maintenance team members to troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues, including gearbox repairs, pump maintenance, and pipe fitting.

What We're Looking For:

• Completion of a 4-year mechanical apprenticeship program, with NVQ Level 3 certification.
• Proficiency in mechanical maintenance and repair, with experience in pump maintenance, boiler operations, and pipe fitting.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Flexibility to work occasional overtime as needed.
