Our client, a leading manufacturer of sustainable engineering systems is seeking a highly skilled Production Planning Manager to join their team.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective production planning strategies to optimise resource utilisation and meet customer demands.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast and plan production requirements.
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels to ensure efficient production flow.
- Analyse production data and identify areas for improvement.
- Manage production schedules and coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the production planning team.
Job Requirements:
- Significant experience in production planning or a similar role within the engineering sector.
- Strong analytic and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.
- Proficient in using planning software and MS Office applications.
- Knowledge of inventory management principles.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
