Job Title:              Estimator – Small Works

Location:              Birmingham

Salary:                 £30,000 per annum

Hours of Work:      45 Hours Monday - Friday

Type:                   Permanent

Start Date:           Immediately (flexible for notice periods)

We are hiring for a Small Works Estimator for a Building contractor based in Birmingham.

Duties of an Estimator

• Estimate projects on first-principles.
• Manage project costs – value and reconciliation.
• Price variations.
• Take-offs and raise prices from drawings

It is essential that you have the following experience, licence or skills;

• Two-years relevant experience is essential.
• Measuring accurately.
• Ability to read drawings and produce take-offs.
• Full Drivers Licence.
• Understanding of Bill of Quantities.
• Computer literate- MS Office
