We're looking for a Quality Inspector

This is a full time role based on site with a salary of £35-38k

Be an integral part of the production team to ensure the quality of products are manufactured in accordance with

Current standards
Provide Advice, guidance, training and support to the production team in following manufacturing procedures in accordance with BS EN 9001 quality standards

• Effective oral and written communication skills
• An ability to manage and priorities work
• Strong of customer service
• Background in welding and fabrication inspection procedures
• Ability to carry out internal audits and reporting
• Quality control mindset
• 5 years previous Quality inspection experience
• MS office packages in particular Excel, Word, Outlook competency
• Conduct random Inspection of product throughout the manufacturing process checking compliance with current procedures
• Conduct End of Line inspections and reporting using documented photograph evidence
• Support client visits and Compile records of materials, consumables and certificates and prepare reports for client conformance packs.
• Understanding complicated engineering drawings to check compliance against manufacturing procedure offering support.
• Maintain records of welder qualifications and training associated with procedures
• Arrange and maintain records of measuring tools and welder set calibrations
• Carry out internal audits in accordance with the quality manual and maintain records
• Conduct inspections against engineering drawings on imported goods and galvanising quality
• Investigate and report on customer complaints
