Field Service and Repair Engineer

The team are dedicated to maintaining the reliability and accuracy of industrial machinery through meticulous servicing and repair and Calibrations.

As a Field Service and Repair Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless operation of weighing systems both on-site and at our Service Centre. Collaborating with a talented team, you will diagnose faults, conduct maintenance, perform routine servicing, and provide expert repairs, adhering to industry standards and best practices.

The Field Service and Repair Engineer 's Key Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive maintenance, fault diagnosis, service, and repairs on weighing systems.
• Conduct assessments to identify and resolve performance issues promptly.
• Execute on-site servicing and repair, including necessary adjustments to optimise equipment functionality.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure timely delivery of calibration certificates to customers.
• Stay updated on legal metrology legislation and industry requirements to ensure compliance.
• Provide insightful reports to customers and recommend product upgrades or modifications as needed.

The Field Service and Repair Engineer Requirements: 

• A qualification in Engineering would be beneficial.
• Proficiency in repairing mechanical, electromechanical, and electronic equipment.
• Strong background in machine maintenance, with expertise in hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Experience in industrial maintenance would be highly desirable.
• Understanding of Legal Metrology standards would be beneficial.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 17025 standards would be beneficial.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Competent computer skills, including MS Office and company software programs.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
