Hales Group are currently looking for a Maintenance Manager to join our top client based in Letchworth Garden City. To be considered for this role you must have the relevant experience and qualifications needed, along with a can-do attitude and prolific attendance record. This is a Temp to Perm position.
 
The hours for this role are Monday to Friday, 8am-4:30pm (1-hour unpaid lunch)
 
The salary for the position is between £30,000 and £35,000 (depending on experience)
 
Main duties as a Maintenance Manager:
- Carrying out hands on repairs to plant and equipment when demand requires
- Carrying out planned maintenance across a manufacturing site in an accurate, timely and safe manner
- To prepare a prioritised list of needed repairs and replacements for the building
- Carry out mandatory inspections when required
- Respond to and diagnose equipment breakdowns, resolving any issues 
- Work closely with manufacturers, suppliers, and internal departments in finding ways to improve process and increase machine reliability
- Manage visiting contractors and specialist engineering providers
 
Skills and Qualifications needed as a Maintenance Manager:
- Must have electrical qualifications (Edition 18)
- Maintenance biased with multi-skilled experience
- Strong attention to detail
- Great team playing skills
- Methodical and thorough approach to work
- Good timekeeping and organisational skills
- Experience of working on CNC, Break Press, Lasers would be an added advantage
