£20.57 - £41.14/hour
NRL are currently looking for Platers & Welders for a client in Teesside.
This is for a long term, ongoing contract.

Main Duties:
  • Reading & Interpreting Engineering drawings;
  • Measuring and marking out plates and sections for cutting;
  • Operating plate cutting machine where required and trained to do so;
  • Assembling steelwork in line with engineering drawings;
  • Maintaining material traceability during assembly;
  • Aligning and checking tolerances;
  • Tack welding fabricated parts together;
  • Guiding overhead cranes and hoists where trained for moving and assembling plates;
  • Responsible for cable management, general good housekeeping in working area;
  • Working in line with strict adherence to Quality/Health & Safety Procedures
Requirements
  • Platers must be fully Time Served
  • Welders must be Time Served and pass a 3G & 4G Flux Core Weld Test. 

Pay Rate and Working Hours:
  • 37.5 hours per week
  • £20.57 per hour dayshift
  • £30.86 per hour Overtime 1 (Monday- Sat am)
  • £41.14 per hour Overtime 2 (Sat post 1st 4 hrs & Sunday)
  • 31 days holiday (inclusive of statutory holidays)
Dayshift
  • Monday – Friday, 07:00AM - 15:00PM
 
Due to the nature of the work applicants will be required to complete BPSS screening at the company’s cost.
