Job Summary:

We are delighted and excited to offer the opportunity to join a vibrant, innovative, and rapidly expanding tech company who are making great waves in the provision of Billing SW for the Telecoms and IT Sectors in the UK and Globally

We're seeking a highly motivated junior software developer who is proficient in client-side technologies such as Vue and Nuxt.js, server-side technologies such as Node.js/Express, and databases such as Oracle and MySQL. Even better if you have experience in the Telecoms sector.

As a member of our development team, you'll be responsible for supporting the building and maintenance of our billing management web application that helps our customers manage their accounts. You'll also be responsible for maintaining and developing our API services that we offer to our customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the development team to build and maintain our web application using modern JavaScript programming styles and frameworks.
  • Work closely with senior developers to understand the codebase, contribute to its maintenance, and help with further development.
  • Maintain and develop our API services that we offer to our customers.
  • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code using modern programming best practices.
  • Perform unit testing and ensure code quality.
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues.
  • Work with the DevOps team to deploy the application to our Linux servers.
  • Document code and write technical specifications.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or software engineering or equivalent practical experience
  • Proficiency in client-side technologies such as Vue and Nuxt.js, server-side technologies such as Node.js/Express, and databases such as Oracle and MySQL
  • Either direct graduate or with one years SW Dev experience
  • Familiarity with Git for source control
  • Familiarity with Linux environment
  • Familiarity with other JavaScript frameworks
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
  • Passionate about software development and eager to learn new technologies.
  • Experience in billing or a similar domain is a plus, but not required.
