Job Title: Forklift Engineer

Overview:
New and exciting opportunity to join an expanding independent hire organization providing a vast fleet of Powered Access, Plant and Tools nationwide. Joining as a Forklift Service Engineer you will be responsible for the service, repair and maintenance of gas, electric and diesel Material Handling equipment.
What do I need?
- Mechanical knowledge
- Electrical and Hydraulic knowledge
- Experience working with Forklifts, Plant Machinery, or similar equipment
- Effective organisational skills and planning.
Responsibilities:
- Service, maintenance and repair of diesel, gas, and electric forklift trucks
- Perform mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical fault finding and diagnostics
- Carry out PDI’s (pre delivery inspections) and testing of equipment
- Accurately complete recordings of checks and ensuring company procedures are followed
Desirable:
- City & Guilds or NVQ Level 2/3 in Forklift Engineering or Plant
