Production Planner Required!

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Production to ensure on-time customer deliveries.
• Conduct demand planning and labour capacity assessments.
• Prepare and organise production paperwork.
• Participate in daily shortage meetings with supervisors.
• Coordinate effectively with production and purchasing teams.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives, with a focus on LEAN methodology.
• Monitor and report on KPIs for management review.
• Foster strong teamwork and communication across all business areas.

Skills and Experience Required:

• Previous experience in production planning and capacity planning is essential.
• NVQ Level 3 or above (CIPS/APICS) or equivalent.
• Proficiency in Excel, including macros/formulas.
• Strong analytical, computer, communication, and writing skills.
• Solid data management capabilities.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• SAP experience preferred.
• Familiarity with MRP purchasing.

This position is based in Redditch and is easily commutable from Bromsgrove, Studley, Alcester, Droitwich, Alvechurch, Evesham, Birmingham, Solihull, Worcester, Kidderminster and Stourbridge.
