Workshop engineer required. Experienced powered access engineer required. Our client is an established provider of hire equipment across the UK and Ireland and is requiring a workshop-based engineer to service and maintain plant and powered access equipment. The ideal candidate must have relevant experience and knowledge in a similar role. The candidate must be within a commutable distance of Mullask.

Workshop Engineer Overview

  • Maintaining and servicing on a variety of plant and powered access machinery.
  • Diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
  • Upholding the highest standards of safety and maintenance in all tasks and operations.
  • Working well with the team to enhance performance
  • Maintaining accurate and detailed records of all maintenance activities, repairs, and service history.
  • Utilizing strong mechanical skills to ensure precision and reliability.
  • Demonstrating keen attention to detail in maintaining equipment quality and performance.

Workshop Engineer Requirements

  • Previous knowledge and experience in the repair of plant and powered access equipment.
  • Good all-round mechanical skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with strong attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of electrics, electronics, and hydraulics would be advantageous
  • IPAF qualification would be desriable
  • Within a commutable distance of Mullask

Workshop Engineer Remuneration

  • £33,000+ Salary dependant on experience
  • Monday-Friday 7.30am-5 pm
  • 1 in 3 Saturdays on a rotational basis 7:45am-12:30pm
  • 28 days holiday inclusive of bank holidays
  • Pension
