Your World Recruitment is currently supporting a Private Healthcare organisation based in Chertsey with the recruitment of an Electrical Engineering Technician required to Complete work orders for planned maintenance, reactive response, specialist sub-contracts, remedial tasks and provide routine and specialised engineering maintenance, and breakdown support.

Hours: 37.5 hours per week, flexible shifts between 6 am and 8 pm

Key Responsibilities:
- Complete work orders for planned maintenance, reactive response, specialist sub-contracts, and remedial tasks promptly.
- Provide routine and specialized engineering maintenance and breakdown support.
- Offer technical, health, safety, and environmental support, ensuring adherence to company policies.
- Train, mentor, and assist site-based technicians and engineering assistants.
- Advise local hospital managers on engineering matters.
- Foster a culture of exemplary engineering standards and integrity.
- Develop a strong team ethos, cover engineering absences, and provide specialist advice where required.
Skills, Experience & Qualifications:
- Current CSCS Card.
- Current ECS Card if electrically qualified.
- City & Guilds Part 3, ONC, NVQ Level 3, or equivalent in Electrical Engineering.
- Time served apprenticeship in an electrical discipline.
- Willingness to act as AP and RP Medgas.
- High-level organisation, time management, fault-finding techniques, and ability to read drawings.
- Comprehensive understanding of Health and Safety guidelines, statutes, ACOPs, and L8 Legionella ACOP within hospital buildings.
- Competent in using a PC and related software/systems.
