Your World Recruitment is currently supporting a Private Healthcare organisation based in Chertsey with the recruitment of an Electrical Engineering Technician required to Complete work orders for planned maintenance, reactive response, specialist sub-contracts, remedial tasks and provide routine and specialised engineering maintenance, and breakdown support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Complete work orders for planned maintenance, reactive response, specialist sub-contracts, and remedial tasks promptly.
• Provide routine and specialized engineering maintenance and breakdown support.
• Offer technical, health, safety, and environmental support, ensuring adherence to company policies.
• Train, mentor, and assist site-based technicians and engineering assistants.
• Advise local hospital managers on engineering matters.
• Foster a culture of exemplary engineering standards and integrity.
• Develop a strong team ethos, cover engineering absences, and provide specialist advice where required.

Skills, Experience & Qualifications:

• Current CSCS Card.
• Current ECS Card if electrically qualified.
• City & Guilds Part 3, ONC, NVQ Level 3, or equivalent in Electrical Engineering.
• Time served apprenticeship in an electrical discipline.
• Willingness to act as AP and RP Medgas.
• High-level organisation, time management, fault-finding techniques, and ability to read drawings.
• Comprehensive understanding of Health and Safety guidelines, statutes, ACOPs, and L8 Legionella ACOP within hospital buildings.
• Competent in using a PC and related software/systems.
