Join Our Client's Team as a Quality Manager

Are you an experienced Quality Manager with a passion for driving continuous improvement and ensuring top-notch quality standards? We have an exciting opportunity for you to oversee and coordinate quality activities, manage customer complaints, and warranty claims, and work closely with certifying bodies, suppliers, and internal teams.

Salary circa £60,000 - £70,000 per annum, depending upon experience plus exceptional benefits package.

As Quality Manager your key responsibilities will include:

  • Act as the Quality Management Representative to certifying bodies and customers.
  • Ensure compliance with various national and international standards and legislation.
  • Drive a culture of continual improvement throughout the organization.
  • Lead and develop the Quality Team, providing mentorship and setting strategic objectives.
  • Utilise quality tools to analyse defects and recommend corrective measures.
  • Implement and promote quality improvement programs and lean processes.
  • Investigate and resolve customer complaints and warranty issues.
  • Conduct internal audits and ensure compliance with company and customer specifications.
  • Participate in key management and quality meetings, ensuring relevant actions are completed.

To be successful in the position of Quality Manager, you may have previously worked as Head of Quality, Quality Lead or Senior Quality Engineer and you will possess the following skills and experience:

  • Degree qualification (or equivalent) or qualified by experience.
  • Proven track record in a similar role within an engineering environment.
  • Proficient in ISO & IATF management systems.
  • Experienced in SAP.
  • Skilled in problem-solving tools such as 8D, 5Y etc.
  • Auditing experience (system, product, process).
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.

This position is based in Redditch and is easily commutable from Bromsgrove, Studley, Alcester, Droitwich, Alvechurch, Evesham, Birmingham, Solihull, Worcester, Kidderminster, Stourbridge and Warwick.
