M&E Project Manager 

Southeast London

Up to £55,000

Our client is an established multi-disciplinary construction company based in South-East London, with projects in and around Greater London. As an ever-growing company, they are seeking an experienced M&E Project Manager to join their team and help with the delivery of project success on new and up-coming projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation, with a focus on M&E aspects.
  • Manage project budgets, ensuring costs remain within allocated limits, particularly focusing on M&E system costs.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate project risks, especially those unique to M&E systems.
  • Oversee contracts with subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants related to M&E works.
  • Ensure projects meet the required quality standards, specifically those relevant to M&E installations.
  • Review and approve M&E designs and specifications, ensuring compliance with regulations and standards.
  • Coordinate seamless integration between M&E systems and other building systems.
  • Clearly communicate project progress, challenges, and decisions to stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, and contractors.
  • Proactively manage stakeholder expectations and address concerns throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Assemble and lead a high-performing project team, providing direction, motivation, and performance monitoring.
  • Lead productive project meetings to drive action and progress.
  • Ensure project adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations, especially those specific to M&E work.

Key Requirments:

  • Proven extensive experience in a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of M&E systems, including design principles and maintenance requirements.
  • Demonstrated team-building and leadership skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Project Management: 5 years (required).
