Northwest Manufacturer is seeking an experienced Project Manager for a 12-month contract role to lead critical manufacturing projects. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned PM to oversee the planning and execution of complex equipment installations and facility upgrades.
Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed project plans, schedules, resource plans and budgets
- Manage cross-functional project teams including engineering, manufacturing, facilities, etc.
- Coordinate contractors, vendors and third-party suppliers
- Identify and mitigate project risks through proactive planning
- Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope and budget
- Implement project management best practices and processes
- Provide regular project updates and status reports to leadership
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field
- 7+ years of project management experience, preferably in manufacturing or construction
- PMP certification is highly preferred
- Excellent leadership, communication and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Proficient with MS Project, Excel and project management software
Available for a 12-month contract assignment
This is a contract position with potential for extension. Competitive compensation based on experience.
