An expanding family run, electronics company in the Maldon area, are looking to recruit a Senior Assembler with conventional assembly experience to assemble products to a high quality with limited supervision.

Duties:

• Perform standard conventional hand assembly
• Component Pre-forming
• Through hole soldering
• Component Insertion
• Occasionally may be required to put boards through the selective soldering machine

Experience Required:

• Experience in electronic manufacturing.
• A working knowledge of IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001
• Hold a J-STD-001 certification or be willing to complete certification.
• Must have good component recognition skills and be able to determine the polarity of the components being placed
• Must be able to determine polarity from drawings or board markings.
• Must be familiar with a range of hand tools including soldering irons, cutters and magnifiers
