Building Maintenance Engineer
Covent Garden, City of London
£45,000
Join our client on a brand new commercial contract in Covent Garden. We are looking for a fully qualified, experienced Mechanical or Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our client's team. You will undergo PPM and Reactive Maintenance on electrical and mechanical systems, liaise with sub contractors, fill in logbooks and strengthen relations with the client on site. In return, you will receive additional training, internal progression and gain valuable experience. This role will follow a fixed pattern, Monday - Friday, 8AM - 5PM.
To be successful in this role, you will need to hold the correct qualifications in either Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, (City and Guilds / NVQ or equivalent) at least 3 years prior experience in commercial maintenance and communicate effectively with the client on site.

Duties:
- PPM (Planned preventative maintenance) & Reactive maintenance
- AHUs, FCUs, Pumps - Bearings, Mechanical Seals, Sprinkler Systems, Water Treatment (Tap Tests, Dosing, Cooling Tower Checks, etc).,Tap Temperatures, Chilled Water Systems, Plumbing, Generators, 3 Phase Power, Emergency Lights, Fire Alarms, Troubleshooting , Pressurisation units, BMS Operation
- Booking in subcontractors/ management of subcontractors
- Log book control
- Client management, including reporting on contract performance
Requirements:
- Qualified in either Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (City and Guilds / NVQ or equivalent)
- Apprentice trained - desirable
- Building Services Maintenance experience (Min 3 Years
- Experience)
- Career driven
- Strong communication skills
- Effective team management skills
- Very Client facing
- £45,000 per annum
- Monday - Friday, 8AM - 5PM
