Job Title: Mechanical Fitter
Location: Accrington
Salary: £46,000
Working Hours: 4on 4off
Pension - 15% (5% employer 10% employer)
We are recruiting for a Mechanical Fitter to join a busy manufacturing plant in the Nottingham area. Offering a salary of £46,000 for working 4on 4off rotation. Ideal candidates will have experience working within a manufacturing background and use to working in a heavy engineering environment (ideal not essential).
As Mechanical Fitter your role will involve:
- Site Maintenance activities, Mechanical
- Hydraulics & Pneumatics experience
- Reactive Maintenance & PPMs
- Small Projects
- Working at heights and confined spaced
- Welding - MIG & MMA
To be successful in this role the candidate will be:
- Experienced working within a manufacturing background (ideally from a heavier background, Quarry, Mining etc)
- Willing to go the extra mile to get the job completed
- Be qualified to NVQ3 / Apprentice trained (or equivalent)
- Living local to the area
- An excellent communicator both verbally and written
