Injection Moulding Technician

RMS are currently recruiting for an Injection Moulding Technician to join our client’s team based in Crook to oversee operations on our range of injection moulding machines.
You will be working Monday to Friday on a 2-Shift Rotation of 6AM – 2PM & 2PM – 10PM. The salary is £30k - £35k per annum depending on experience.
Main Duties & Responsibilities will include:
- Perform tool changes efficiently and accurately.
- Conduct process setups to ensure optimal machine performance.
- Troubleshoot issues related to processes, tooling, and machines to minimize downtime.
- Maintain and repair tools to ensure longevity and performance.
- Utilize robot takeout systems, with experience in Sepro Robots being an advantage.
As an ideal candidate, you should have:
- Previous experience running injection moulding machines is essential.
- Ability to work on machines ranging from 650 Ton to 1800 Ton.
- Proficiency in basic machine maintenance and tool maintenance.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot effectively.
