Senior Quality Engineer

£45,000 to £50,000 + Bonus + 25 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays + Pension + Extra Benefits

The company are a well-established, highly revered manufacturing company in the Plymouth area with sites across the world that not only are renowned for the quality of their products but also for being a leading and progressive employer within the area. Due to growth, they are currently looking for a Senior Quality Engineer to work within their Quality Engineering team.

In this role you you will play a crucial part in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products/services.

The person will come from a Quality Engineering background and have knowledge of a variety of processes within a manufacturing/engineering environment.

The Role:

• Developing and implementing quality control processes and procedures, conducting audits, leading root cause analysis and corrective action,
• Provide training, mentoring, coaching and support to team members
• 39 hours per week Monday to Thursday 08:00 - 16:30, Friday 08:00 - 15:30

The person:

• HNC in Engineering discipline
• Experience/knowledge of SPC, AQP, PPAP, DFMEA and PFMEA
• Knowledge of ISO standards (ISO 9001 certification would be a bonus)
