The UK's leading nuclear and defence company are looking to bring on an experienced facilities manager who has a strong engineering back ground and vast time spent as a facilities engineer in the heavily regulated sectors.
Job Title - Facilities Engineer
Location - Reading
Contract Length - 18 months
Pay Rates - £58.77
This is a fantastic opportunity for a security cleared facilities engineer to join a brilliant company for one of the most prestigious projects in the UK nuclear defence sector.
Minimum Requirements/Skills:
- Contract/safety management including with external stakeholders
- Design review and shortfall meetings review
- The knowledge and ability to manage plant risk and documents.
- Experience in managing live documents inclusive of review and acceptance.
- Safety case and highly regulated experience from a facilities manager point of view.
- Knowledge and background in the project management and engineering field
- In depth knowledge of regulations and legislations
Minimum Qualifications/Backgrounds:
- Active UK clearances
- Engineering background (engineering institution membership desired)
- Understanding of relevant legislation
- No preference in engineering background but strong background is crucial
- Management ability over a doer attitude
- Nuclear background is desired (also except defence and other highly regulated)
