The UK's leading nuclear and defence company are looking to bring on an experienced facilities manager who has a strong engineering back ground and vast time spent as a facilities engineer in the heavily regulated sectors.

Job Title - Facilities Engineer

Location - Reading

Contract Length  - 18 months

Pay Rates - £58.77

This is a fantastic opportunity for a security cleared facilities engineer to join a brilliant company for one of the most prestigious projects in the UK nuclear defence sector.

Minimum Requirements/Skills:

  • Contract/safety management including with external stakeholders
  • Design review and shortfall meetings review
  • The knowledge and ability to manage plant risk and documents.
  • Experience in managing live documents inclusive of review and acceptance.
  • Safety case and highly regulated experience from a facilities manager point of view.
  • Knowledge and background in the project management and engineering field
  • In depth knowledge of regulations and legislations

Minimum Qualifications/Backgrounds:

  • Active UK clearances
  • Engineering background (engineering institution membership desired)
  • Understanding of relevant legislation
  • No preference in engineering background but strong background is crucial
  • Management ability over a doer attitude
  • Nuclear background is desired (also except defence and other highly regulated)
