CNC Setter

The Recruitment Co are looking to recruit a CNC Setter to work on a permanent basis for a family owned, Precision Engineering Company based in Newton Aycliffe, Co. Durham. This role is available for immediate start.
£29,406-£34,476 per annum depending on experience
39hrs per week: Monday - Thursday 07:30 - 16:00 and Friday 07:30 - 15:00 for 5-day week or possibility of a 4 day week working Monday - Thursday 07:00 - 17:15.
28 Holidays including bank holidays
Skills Required:
- Experience of setting a CNC Lathe. (Fanuc Control experience essential) Programming experience is desirable however not essential.
- Ability to carry out inspection of machined components during machining cycles
- Ability to read and understand manufacturing drawings
- Work in accordance with an approved manufacturing route cards
- Comfortable working with a variety of inspection equipment including gauges, verniers, micrometers, Bore Micrometers etc.

- Be self-motivated and reliable with a hands on approach
- Be proactive and have the ability to work unsupervised
- Hold good organisational skills
- Have a positive approach to continuous improvements and have a 'right the first time' attitude
- Be a good team player
