As well as our competitive salary and benefit packages, we are proud to say we have a collaborative engaging culture, where our employees join us and grow with us.

About the facility

The LREL EfW plant is located in Lanark in the Central Belt. Operation & maintenance of the Plant was brought in-house from an external provider earlier this year, which has turned the focus to supporting its employees to achieve the best possible results.

Built in 2017, the 40MW plant can supply energy to 25,000 homes and also has a hot water heating line. The site uses gasifier technology to maximise the energy released from the refuse-derived fuel to reduce wastage and optimise efficiency.
