CH47 Chinook Mechanical Technician

CXC is delighted to be working with a UK leading Aerospace company. We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Technician to form part of an MRO modification, servicing and repair team.
You will have:
- Relevant trade apprenticeship or trade training experience, and you will be proficient in the interpretation of engineering drawings, workbook instructions and technical manuals.
- Knowledge in aspects of Ch47 aircraft maintenance, modification and repair (both structural and mechanical system disciplines).
- Knowledge of general aircraft maintenance and environment processes (FOD control, tool control, health & safety & COSHH
You will:
- Conduct the assembly, disassembly, and modification or repair of Ch47 aircraft primary structures and complex aircraft systems to include; hydraulics, flight controls, and propulsion.
- Perform maintenance activities, fault diagnosis and disturbed system functional tests.
- Work with peers to perform tasks associated with aircraft safe handling, maintenance and flight servicing.
- Be responsible for ensuring process adherence, accurate and timely work recording and contractual/regulatory compliance.
Security Clearance: This position requires the ability to obtain a UK security clearance for which the Government requires UK Citizenship.
