Here at Kingston College, part of South Thames Colleges Group, we are looking for a Lecturer to teach in some of the following areas;

• Mechanical Engineering & Maintenance
• Engineering Mathematics

We are happy to consider both full time and fractional hours.

Offering more than one specialism is desirable, but not essential.

You will teach predominantly on vocational Level 2/3 programmes for full time and apprenticeship students but there may be some opportunities for HE delivery. You will be responsible for the delivery, conduct and progress of students on these courses, in line with College and School policies and procedures, ensuring the provision, for these students, is of high quality.

We're looking for someone who is educated to degree level (or holds a high academic qualification) in an appropriate subject and who has experience of delivering training at Level 3 in an Engineering environment or an educational setting. You'll have knowledge of new technologies to enhance teaching and learning to support students.

With high personal standards and expectations, you will have good planning, preparation, organisational and administrative skills, and be able to work well under pressure to agreed deadlines. You will have an awareness of academic quality standards and be receptive to new ideas and initiatives, with a creative approach to problem solving.

Subject to a cost of living review from 1 August, the successful candidate will be eligible for any subsequent increase in salary.
