REGIONAL SALES MANAGER 

SOUTH EAST REGION

Location         Hertfordshire AL9 6DE

Hours             07:30am to 16:30pm, Mon to Fri

Salary             £45-50k (negiotiable depending on experience) plus Commission

Established in 2006, our client Ambiente Systems Ltd is a premium and innovative brand specialising in the design and supply of water-based underfloor heating systems in the UK.  With offices in London, the North-West, the South-West and Scotland, they are a nationwide offering. They have a reputation for product quality and service agility given its direct relationship with the installer. With over 100 years of underfloor heating experience across the team, They are a market leader with the widest product range in the UK.

THE ROLE

The regional based role requires a positive and proactive individual who can work on their own initiative as well as being part of a team.  It is a fast-paced environment and requires strong organisational skills to keep up.  The successful candidate will need good attention to detail and standard of customer care.  

You will be working with an enthusiastic team who enjoy what they do, working closely with customer support who handle enquiries, generate quotations on behalf of the sales team, through to processing orders.   

The first 2wks will involve an intensive training plan and you will be assigned a ‘buddy’ for general questions.  You will get to meet everyone in the business, and we aim to provide a complete understanding of the business before you go about your role.

RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Create a right-sized pipeline of opportunities
  • Achieve activity and sales targets
  • Proactively focused on achieving face-to-face appointments
  • Work with regional CS to maximise existing customer spend in the region
  • Manage prospecting activity plan to generate new business
  • Create and utilise value propositions by persona
  • Upsell and cross-sell 
  • Manage the complete sales process from lead generation to handover of orders to the operations team
  • Be an expert of the company’s product portfolio – a trusted advisor
  • Analyse and self-evaluate sales performance and metrics
  • Remain committed to personal development
  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Be a brand ambassador

PREFERRED SKILLS

  • Knowledge / experience in the construction industry
  • Able to read and understand architect drawings and specifications
  • Competent with ERP / CRM systems


 

ROLE REQUIREMENTS 

  • 2yrs + experience in a similar role
  • DIY / practical skills are essential to understand our customer
  • Lead generation / prospecting experience
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel & Outlook) 
  • Good communication skills - written and verbal 
  • Good numerical skills and commercial awareness 
  • Strong organisation and time management skills 
  • Personable, presentable, and articulate 
  • Positive, proactive, and punctual 
  • Accurate, with good attention to detail 
  • Interpersonal and team-working skills 
  • Full UK Driving Licence
