EV Installation Electrician

Ganymede Energy are currently recruiting for EV Engineers for a well established & expanding company.

The client is a one of the UK’s leading electric vehicle charging specialists. Since 2020, they have successfully and safely installed thousands of EV charging points across the UK. They are a rapidly expanding business in an exciting industry and are looking for new team members to join them on their journey.

About the role:

The main responsibility of the role will be to install new circuits to supply EV charging points in commercial and domestic settings complying with BS7671 18th edition.

You will be responsible for Initial Verification of Electrical Installations and completion of Electrical Installation Certificates and Minor Works Certificates.

As well as that you will also be asked to diagnose and repair issues with existing EV Charging Installations in both Commercial and Domestic settings and fill out the relevant paperwork necessary afterwards. 

About you:

• Professional, courteous, and approachable.
• Manages priorities & takes responsibility for outcomes.
• Have high standards when carrying out installation work.
• Have previous EV Installation experience.
• Good time keeping and communication.
• 18th Edition.
• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent.
• C&G Level 2 & 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent.
• C&G 2391 Inspection and Testing or equivalent.
• EV Charging 2919 (preferrable but not essential).

Package:

• Base salary of £35,000 - £40,000 (depending on experience & location).
• 25 days holiday + bank holidays.
• Full-time permanent position.
• Overtime available paid at enhanced rates.
• Saturday work incentive (£100 per standard install).
• Mon – Fri (8am – 5pm).
• Company van & fuel card provided.
• Tools, tablet & laptop provided.
• Ongoing training/upskilling.
