This company offers a service and maintenance package to multiple clients with respect to various fork lift trucks and other material handling equipment are recruiting a Resident Engineer in the Birmingham Area.

What is on offer for this Resident Engineer Role?

  • Salary £34,684 - £41,262 - Overtime Potential
  • Double Day Shifts - (05:30-14:00 and 13:30-22:00)
  • Company Van Provided + Fuel
  • 25 Days holiday plus Bank Holidays
  • Field Service Engineer Role covering 3 sites across the midlands.

The Resident Engineers Main Responsibilities:

Experienced resident engineer covering the below on various fork lift equipment.

  • Repair and maintain Fork lift trucks and other site MHE.
  • Carry out after service repair work.
  • Carry out routine maintenance with customers to achieve service levels. 
  • Site visits across various areas within your agreed patch.
  • Comply with all H&S rules.
  • Planning and self-organisation. 

Resident Engineer Work experience requirements:

The successful resident engineer will have must if not all of the below

  • Strong background in Plant industry essential.
  • NVQ Level 3 Plant Maintenance or equivalent.
  • Experience of diagnostic tools and computer software including engine diagnostics.
  • Will consider ex-forces and people from the motor trade.
  • Valid Full UK Driving Licence.
