Market 36 Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Laser Operator for our client based in Witham on a permanent basis.

The successful candidate will be highly skilled, and detail orientated and have in depth knowledge of laser operation and experience. They will be highly motivated, capable of following instructions and working independently, hard-working, reliable, punctual, and happy to work within a fast-paced workshop environment.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Operating laser cutting machines to cut and shape materials according to specifications.
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings.
• Setting up and adjusting machine specifications.
• Checking materials prior to cutting.
• Responsible for quality of components that have been cut.
• General workshop duties.
• Ensuring that quality control standards are maintained.
• Maintaining a production schedule.
• Adhering to assembly safety standards.

Knowledge and Skills:

• Previous skilled laser operation experience
• Strong practical skills
• Positive attitude
• Ability to learn new skills.

Working hours are Monday to Friday.
