Commissioning Engineer

We are working with a company specialising in the automated material handling industry for the past 30 years. They are going through a period of immense growth and are looking for a Commissioning Engineer to join the team. About the Commissioning Engineer Role

This engineer will join the Project Delivery team, contributing to new system installations. They will work within a multidisciplinary project team, performing on-site commissioning and delivering comprehensive customer training.

The Commissioning Engineer will be responsible for:

  • Programme Allen Bradey ControlLogix PLCs on material handling equipment.
  • Liaise with customers and provide.
  • Fault-finding and system diagnostics.
  • Maintain and modify control systems including PLCs and HMIs.
  • Participate in FAT and SAT.

A successful Commissioning Engineer will need:

  • Experience in PLC programming and modifications.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Ability to travel and work within the UK and abroad.
  • Eligible to live and work in the UK.
  • Valid UK driving license.
