We are seeking a Machine Operative to join our busy client in the plastic industry.
 

You will be responsible for operating and maintaining busy extrusion machines.
 

This role will require working both days and nights. There are three different shift patterns available.

Pattern 1:

• Week 1 : Monday to Friday 7am till 3pm
• Week 2: Monday to Friday 3pm till 11pm
• Week 3: Monday to Friday 11pm till 7am

Pattern 2:

• Week 1 : Monday to Friday 06:00 a.m. to 14:00 p.m.
• Week 2: Monday to Friday 14:00 p.m. to 22:00 p.m.

Pattern 3:

• Week 1 : Monday and Tuesday 07:00 a.m. to 19:00 p.m. and Thursday and Friday 19:00 p.m. to 07:00 a.m.
• Week 2: Wednesday to Friday 07:00 a.m. to 19:00 p.m.
• Week 3: Monday to Wednesday 19:00 p.m. to 07:00 a.m. 

You will have a minimum of 1-year experience in a similar role and be able to work well under pressure, possess excellent attention to detail and be willing to work as part of a team to achieve common goals.
 

Key responsibilities include:

• Setting up and operating the machines
• Ensuring quality, and compliance with health and safety procedures.
• Carrying out routine maintenance and cleaning of the machines.
• The ideal candidate will have experience of working to production targets such as quality, output, and yield.

We offer an hourly rate of £11.44ph
