Job Description

Are you ready to take on a dynamic role in project management? We're seeking a dedicated Package Manager to join our team! As the Package Manager: ADMP & ABMP Capability Assessment, you'll play a pivotal role in interpreting requirements, developing concepts of operations, and ensuring the smooth delivery of our projects.

🎯 Responsibilities:

  • Interpret requirements and oversee the delivery of our Staged Investment Programme
  • Ensure compliance with project SHE requirements and legal obligations
  • Manage project functions including schedule, financial, and risk management
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop project scope and solutions
  • Line manage a team of Project Engineers, quantity surveyors, schedulers, and Specialist Consultants
  • Plan, monitor, and control work packages delivered by internal and external resources
  • Develop tasking orders and manage resource delivery
  • Control project costs within budget constraints
  • Form and manage effective relationships with project stakeholders
  • Manage third-party suppliers to achieve programme outcomes
  • Utilize Business Management System (BMS) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems for project reporting

 

 

 

 

Qualifications

🔍 Qualifications:

  • Sound commercial knowledge and understanding of construction delivery
  • Experience with NEC contracts and management of change
  • Strong IT skills
  • Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience in a live operational environment is desirable
  • Ability to work collaboratively and adapt to fast-changing needs
  • Knowledge of Primavera P6 and CEMAR or similar tools is a plus

Additional Information

🔒 Due to the nature of this role the successful candidate will require Security clearance. To gain this they will be normally be required to be a Sole UK national

Location: Hybrid with ideally c. 2-3 days per week spent at the Client Site in Plymouth
